Carburettor PZ27 with a manual enricher lever on the body: it makes the petrol and air mixture, so starting, idle and pull all depend on it.

  • The enricher is manual — a lever on the carburettor itself; the same category has the same carburettor with a panel-operated enricher
  • Before ordering, compare it with your own: the diameter of the inlet flange, the positions of the cable and the hoses — that is what the photos are for
  • Once a new carburettor is fitted, the idle almost always has to be adjusted — there is a separate screw for that

Before you change the carburettor, check. Hard starting and an uneven idle are not always down to it: often the cause is the spark plug, the ignition, a blocked fuel tap or a fuel filter. Those are quicker and simpler to check — start there.
