Carburettor for a CG/CB125 four-stroke engine, with a manual enricher on the body: it mixes petrol with air, so starting, idle and pull all depend on it.

  • Manual enricher — a small lever on the carburettor itself
  • Before ordering, compare it with yours: the diameter of the inlet flange, where the cable and the hoses go — that is what the photos are for
  • After a new carburettor is fitted, the idle almost always has to be adjusted — there is a separate screw for that

It is not always the carburettor's fault. If the engine starts badly or will not hold its idle, check the spark plug, the ignition, the fuel tap and the fuel filter first — that is quicker and simpler.
