Carburettor jet M5 1,02

Carburettor jet M5, hole 1,02 mm. The jet (nozzle) meters the petrol that enters the air stream. The hole size determines how rich the mixture is: bigger – more petrol, smaller – less.

• Thread M5 and hole 1,02 mm – both have to match what you unscrew from your carburettor
• Takes a few minutes to swap: unscrew the bottom of the carburettor, unscrew the old one, screw in the new one
• After changing the exhaust, air filter or cylinder, the mixture usually leans out, and you need a bigger main jet – the size is found by testing, not by calculation

To be straight with you: the jet is only marked with the thread and the hole. The maker does not say which carburettor it is meant for, or whether it will be the main jet or the idle jet in yours. Jets of the same thread differ in length and head shape between carburettors, so a matching thread alone is not enough: compare it with the old one or send us its photo – we will tell you if it matches.
