Carburettor jet M5, 1,00 mm hole. A jet (nozzle) is a small screw with a calibrated hole: it meters the petrol going into the air stream. A larger hole lets through more petrol – the mixture runs richer; a smaller one lets through less – the mixture runs leaner.
