Carburettor diaphragm with a slide valve for a 4T 50 cm³ engine. This is a vacuum carburettor part: as the engine draws air in, the diaphragm lifts the slide valve, and the needle with it.

  • Kit includes: diaphragm with slide valve, needle, needle holder plate, screw and retaining ring – you do not need to buy them separately
  • Size 18 mm – measure your slide valve’s diameter and compare, this is the key dimension
  • When to replace: the engine picks up revs sluggishly, "drops" around mid-range or does not pull at all
  • Check the diaphragm against the light – a small tear only shows up that way, and one is enough
  • Set the needle to the same groove position the old one was in: it decides how rich the mixture is at mid-range
