Product information

Electric enricher, SUZUKI AD, for two-stroke (2T) engine carburettors. This part temporarily feeds the cold engine a richer mixture – without it, the engine starts hard or stalls right away. In everyday language it is called the choke.

  • Electric: connected to the power supply, it heats up and once warm stops enriching by itself – nothing to press or pull
  • Fails in two ways: either it stops enriching altogether – the cold engine won't start until you give it throttle, while it runs fine once warm; or it sticks on – the engine guzzles petrol, smokes, and fouls the spark plug
