Electric enricher (fuel mixture enricher) DELLORTO, commonly called a choke: it feeds a cold engine a richer mixture — without it the engine starts hard.

  • Electric: it is wired to the supply, warms up and, once warm, stops enriching on its own — nothing to press and nothing to pull
  • It fails two ways: either it stops enriching altogether — a cold engine will not start until you add throttle, while a warm one runs fine; or it sticks on — the engine drinks petrol, smokes, and the spark plug soots up
  • Compare it with yours: the shape of the body, the connector and where the wires come out — that is what the photos are for
