Voltage regulator relay with 5 wires: the photo shows 65 mm between the mounting hole centres, and the wires lead into a black sheath, at the end of which is a white connector block. Measure the distance between your old regulator's hole centres before ordering.

  • The regulator limits the generator's voltage so it does not exceed what the battery and bulbs can withstand; if the regulator fails, the battery stops charging or the bulbs start burning out.
  • We checked the ends of the measurement lines: both 65 mm auxiliary lines end exactly at the centres of the mounting holes, so this is the distance between the hole centres, not the housing width.
  • In the photo with the 65 mm mark, the regulator is shown from the mounting side: a grey metal plate with bevelled top corners, both mounting holes ringed with raised collars, and in the middle a rectangular recess filled with a dark compound.
  • We checked the wire colours against the photo: 3 yellow, 1 red and 1 black come out of the housing's end — matching the name.
  • In the photo with the 65 mm mark, near the white connector block you can see the red and three yellow wires, but where the black one ends is not visible; the connector block's contacts are also not visible in that photo.
  • The listing's other photo — the one without the 65 mm mark — matches the photo on the “Voltage regulator relay” listing, so we describe nothing based on it.
  • The photo gives no voltage, no current, no hole diameter and no wire length.

To be straight with you: which wire connects where, the maker did not mark, so we do not guess it either: connecting it by guesswork burns out either the regulator or the generator windings. Which machine the relay is meant for is also not stated in the name. Before ordering, measure the distance between your old regulator's hole centres, count its wires and the connector block's contacts, compare the wire colours, send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
