Spark plug tester – a metal rod, a transparent housing with a metal coil inside and a flexible black wire with a cap at the end. Check what spark plug and what cap your engine has.

  • Going by the name, the tool is meant for testing a spark plug – such tools check whether an ignition spark forms.
  • In the photo the rod is shiny, with a notch near the end; the transparent housing is faceted, with a black ribbed ring next to it.
  • At the end of the wire is a black cap, inside which a metal contact is visible.
  • The card gives neither dimensions, nor which spark plugs and caps the tool fits, nor a wiring diagram.
