Motorcycle spoke key – a glossy round ring with eight notches around the edge, and on the flat side, arranged in a circle, are numbers stamped from 9 to 15. Compare the notches with your spoke nipples.

  • This key turns spoke nipples (nuts): that is how spoke tension is changed and the wheel is trued.
  • In the other photo the key is flipped over: eight teeth are visible with knurled outer sides and a large round hole in the middle.
  • In the photo we can make out eight stamped numbers: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 twice; what they mean, the supplier did not explain.
  • The listing gives no key dimensions, no notch sizes in millimetres and no material.
