Messer p.f.Mtd 53.8 cm – a straight, dark grey lawn mower blade with a round hole in the centre and a smaller hole on each side of it. Compare with your old blade before ordering.

  • The blade spins beneath the mower deck and cuts the grass; blunt or bent, it tears the grass instead of cutting it.
  • The name is German: Messer – blade, p.f. – "fitting", Mtd – manufacturer MTD.
  • All three holes sit in one line along the blade, the centre hole is bigger than the other two.
  • The name gives 53.8 cm, but does not say whether this is the blade's end-to-end length or the mower's cutting width.
  • The photo is small: the overall shape and holes are visible, but we cannot make out the edges and ends in detail; there are no dimensions in the photo.
