Throttle cable

Throttle cable – black, with a white dotted line running along the sheath, and attached to it a black lever marked THROTTLE, with hare and tortoise marks. Compare with your old cable before ordering.

• The lever sets the engine revs: the cable passes its movement on to the engine, the hare mark stands for higher revs and the tortoise for lower ones.
• Between the hare and the tortoise – a wedge-shaped scale of light-coloured dashes, narrowing towards the tortoise.
• The cable comes out of the top of the lever; in the photo it is coiled into a loop.
• At the other end, a short straight wire end sticks out of the sheath, with no fitting visible on it.
• There is a small white marking on the sheath, but we cannot make it out in the photo.
• The photo gives no cable length, no wire thickness and no lever mounting dimensions.

Before ordering, measure the length of your old cable, check how its end is attached to the engine, send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
