Signal 12V

Sound horn: cast on the black round body is TYPE 12V and 1.5A, and underneath stick out 2 brass blade contacts in a white insert. Compare the bracket holes with your frame's mounting point.

• The horn is electromagnetic: current pulls the diaphragm, it snaps back and produces the sound; when it is hoarse or silent, oxidised connections or worn internal contacts are usually to blame
• The body is black, round, flat; in the middle at the front there is a brass bolt with a washer, which clamps the diaphragm
• Two lines are cast on the front arc: one reads TYPE 12V 1.5A, the second cannot be read from this angle
• On the other side there is a small screw with a red paint mark; what exactly it adjusts and what the paint mark means is not stated on the product, so we do not explain it
• The bracket is steel, flat, bent to the side; it has two round holes of different diameters; the photo shows no elongated slot that would let the horn be shifted
• There are two contacts, brass, flat, both on the same side, fixed in a white plastic insert
• The photo gives no body diameter, no sound level in decibels and no distance between the bracket hole centres

To be straight with you: how many decibels this horn produces, the maker did not state, and we do not guess; the body diameter is not in the photo either and we did not measure it ourselves. Before ordering, measure your old horn's diameter and the position of the bracket holes, send us a photo of the old part – we will check it before you order.
