Bulb socket with leads, BAY15 base: you change it when it is not the bulb that burns out but the socket — burnt contacts, melted plastic, broken wires.

  • The BAY15 base means the socket takes a bayonet bulb, put in with a push and a turn
  • Three wires — that is how many a twin-filament bulb needs: one for each filament and one common
  • The body is white plastic with lugs on the sides — it goes into the hole in the light and turns until it locks
